Theologist Leonhard Villinus (Höfler) in the classroom, 1567

The theologist from Leibnitz kept the theological faculty, which was in bad shape after reformation, going. The picture shows a rare view of a Viennese lecture hall with a pulpit for the lecturer and a table in the background, with a chained library („libri catenati“).
